The Sunday Picture Show (August 13th, 2023)

I chose this Buck Knife #124 from a gift catalog ten years ago as my 30th Anniversary gift from my company; a decade later and I need to choose another gift - I have completely forgotten about it until today. OH

I wish Buck had gone with this handle but only samples were made. I have a red/white one I found around 2013 (can't find the picture) and this blue/white one I was lucky enough to find a couple of years ago. I believe it is the same material bowling balls are made from. I've always wondered what other colors were made and hope I will be REALLY lucky and find others..20220221_134142.jpg20220221_134255.jpg

Thanks everyone for keeping the Sunday Picture Show alive and well. I've been kind of slow at getting on the forum for a while. I was diagnosed with leukemia several years ago and have been holding that at bay. But now I've been diagnosed with a secondary cancer and finally recovering from 5 weeks of radiation treatment. Enough about me. The little Gen5 in the picture was a Cabela's special, high polish 420HC and a grey Buckeye burl.

Hope everyone has a great Sunday afternoon. Let's see a few more Bucks!

Sorry to hear of your health problems Best wishes 🙏🤞

I"ll say mbkr!! Sturdy looking stuff but much too purdy to use and abuse. Probably should get a safe queen myself one of these days. That 66 made Puma is about the fanciest I got in my meager collection. No problem getting fresh ideas on this forum. thanks for showing your gems.

Happy SPS to all of the Buck Nuts!,

Thank you Roger for hosting this weekly event. Also, thank you to all who post photos and comments for everyone to enjoy.

Here is the 919 Apache Bowie (this one has a tattoo)

Here is a 919 Cabela's skinner (919 recycled model number)

Blades on these are thick, see the 919 next to a 110

My daughters Buck 120. I just looked at the date stamp and it’s from 1988. 19 years older than she is. She’s after me to sharpen it even though she just keeps it put up in her room. It’s one of her most prized possessions

I’m glad DeSotoSky DeSotoSky keeps the Sunday picture show going. I look forward to it every week

Great show today folks, and thanks to everyone for sharing! 😍

I’ll share whatever I can, even though I don’t have many Bucks. These were my first 110 and 112 with a beautiful rainbow setting from the garden just a few minutes ago. I’m thankful for the rain.

So sorry to hear of your cancer. I can relate after going thru 7 wks of chemo and radiation in 2021 focused on my head and neck. Praying for you, brother.
That's a beautiful knife you have there and Roger is right, y'all have posted some fascinating knives this week!
