Hello Everybody, Today I am showing a 1991 commemorative M9-A1 from the Gulf War. Only 775 were made I have not seen another. This was the last Bayonet Project made by Phrobis M9-A1 in Spain. It is pristine in condition along with the sheath, and kept in a case by itself. The Arabic phrase means " The Liberation of Kuwait". The opposite side shows the coalition countries that participated.
SCHWEETTThe December 2008 newsletter has an article by Joe Houser about the 300 yellows. I think these photos show all of them. The large barlow didn't make the group shot.

Gypro where do I get the sheaths made love emGreat show.
Thanks everyone for contributing.
Most all of my stockman style knives are old Colonial carbon blades..... I grew up with 'em, and I still like 'em.
Here's a few 112s.

Yes I have the book and there was plenty of mitigation between Phrobis and Buck but they could not get along. I think the only Buck Bayonets made totally by Buck were the 5000 made for the USMC in 1991. They split everything after, that was left and parted ways. I also have the book of Buckmasters that was also written by author Richard Neyman. Saving some for next week.It sticks in my mind that part of the separation agreement between Buck and Phrobis was Buck retaining USA exclusivity rights. That is the reason Phrobis had to go to Marto in Spain to have your knife made. I wonder if that had an impact on sales of the knife within the USA.
Thanks.Gypro where do I get the sheaths made love em
