Be sure to get a picture of that 119 in use for Makael's "True Buck Users" thread. I'm going to try and get one of my Froe tomorrow hacking and wacking.I dont have ship engravings Bucks. so I went with standards models that I use and going to use. 486 is a user and a favorite. 119 is a new one. just got recently and going to put it to use starting today, on some clean up work.
was my plan today but I only used a 347 today. kinda forgot about it on my belt while cutting the vine invasion. ill put it to use soon enough....Be sure to get a picture of that 119 in use for Makael's "True Buck Users" thread. I'm going to try and get one of my Froe tomorrow hacking and wacking.
The knife on the left is not Susquatch, it's an Apollo Space Suit. Hamilton Standard (became Hamilton Substrand) was involved with the suits and portable life support systems. c.1988 Took me awhile to figure that one out. I like the one on the right also.A few other misc smalls you don't see very often.

James, the knife I show in post #2 has the same artist mark as yours. You say it is Mastodon. Mine is smooth and slick white. How do I tell if it is Mastodon or plastic? And for the nautical theme here are a couple in scrimshawed mastodon.

Could be possible. Because I have no chance to bring complete displays with me to the next BCCI anniversary meeting I plan to make photos and show them there.Haebbie I think we could do a 2 man show with just the little ones.
It always amazes me how many nice Bucks you've collected given the logistics (and cost) of being on the other side of the Atlantic.
What kind of fur are you using for a background?
That's awesome! Most folks don't know that #0001 went to the winning skipper of that race. So #0002 is the first knife sold to the public (cool history for an awesome knife). I have some photos of that knife.
jb4570 , the scrimshaw 315 America's Cup Defense is serial # 0002
