oe, Stripped of the red paint. I used the heck out of this thing right after they came out. the paint was in pretty bad shape with wood in-bedded in the finish. Stripping it and a light refinish on the wood handle gave it a much vintage look. I just got done doing the same thing to the camp knife and need to source a red hatchet/axe to complete the set/look.
