I think the handles are slabbed phenolic.
Lunch Box knife made from rejected blade with a messed up tang stamp perhaps.

Joe Houser did a short review of the 122/124 knives in the December 2006 newsletter. The white teflon spacer knives were about the first 300-500 made. This one would be the second variation. The first approximately 50 knives were marked BUCK*, had a slightly smaller handle, and the lanyard hole was in the center of the pommel. I've never seen one.
