A 422 that I've had for almost 40 years. It sort of replaced my 110 at the time because of it's smaller size & lighter weight.

My very FIRST Buck knife was a 422 c.1987
The sheath was never used as I carried it vertically in a back pocket next to the wallet.

Nice, I should do a display box also. I think the only one I am missing is the Attache.
I acquired this plastic stand in a box of Buck stuff. I had it for years before I knew what it was for.

Love this thread, great pics guys!

But I feel I must correct something most folks take for granted, the Wright brothers did an awesome thing, all credit to them, but they weren't the first to make a powered flight (they were just really smart about advertising it and procuring witnesses). There were at least 3 previous that we know about, the first one being designed and built by Hiram Maxim, the famous gun inventor who created the Maxim machine gun. It was a monster, with a 100 ft wingspan, powered by two 180 hp steam engines and two 18 ft propellers in 1894. It got up just over 40 miles an hour and lifted off the track it was on, and flew some 200 feet before coming down.

Another was the Ezekiel airship, built by Burrell Cannon and flown in 1902 and unfortunately destroyed in a rail accident on it's way to the World's Fair. This one had a gas engine.
