The Sunday Picture Show (December 22nd, 2024)

Those were a Smoky Mountain Knife Works issue in 2017. Offered in Blue, Red, Pink, and Purple. There was also a run of 4 with drop point blades for a total of 8 112's with bone handles and nickel silver Script Buck inlays. My notes say there were 150 each of the drop points, not sure about the other run. Notice the drop points had an anvil tang stamp and a conventional tang stamp with 2017 date code on the other set. Some day I need to do some group photos of the 2 sets.

Thanks Dave. Yes, its smooth bone. It was an SFO for SMKW back in 2017. There were three colors: purple, red and I think pink, but don't hold me to that one. By the time I purchased this one, the red was sold out or I'd probably bought one of those. Once I received the knife, I was glad I had the purple. Its quite pretty in person.

Purple is my favorite color. That knife is kickass.

34 or 35 years ago as a Christmas gift from my then new wife. Still have both.

Wow. I knew Case made a straight but did not know Buck made one. As a straight user, that looks like a great razor
