Hello and welcome to the Sunday Picture Show. Share your Buck knives with others by posting pictures of them here. New or old, plain or custom, user or safe queen, one or a collection, we love to see them all. This weekly tradition was started in 2010 by ItsTooEarly (Armand Hernandez) and Oregon (Steve Dunn). Help keep the tradition alive. Feel free to click that 'LIKE' but lets not let it replace discussing and complimenting each others knives. Above all, enjoy the show. DeSotoSky (Roger Yost)

My usual just for fun tidbit, this day in history, February 13, 1866. The first daylight bank robbery, the Clay County Savings in Liberty MO. Credited to Frank and Jesse James. 17 y/o innocent by stander killed during the escape. Glorified as much as they are in history, the James brothers Civil war actions and later criminal career show them to actually be pretty brutal.

I try as best I can to provide information about knives I display. This is one I can not find much documentation on. Not in the catalog, not on the Special Projects list, and could not find any mention in the 2004 / 2005 Newsletters. There are 2 variations I know of, the 805 shown below and a simiIarly styled 819. They share the same profile as the Signature Series knives but without the S30V steel or walnut handle. Given the blade etch, I wonder if these were sold thru the factory store in San Diego before the move.

Here are photos of a Buck 303 stag from the old custom shop and of a Buck and Rail Fence. Sometimes the trail cam near our cabin picks up something interesting.

Hi to all of Roger's SPS Fans,

I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday and get to spend some time with Family, Friends, Football, & Buck knives! Thank you to MR. Yost and to the folks who post to his weekly shows.

The first knife is to piggyback off of Burt's Awesome Trail Cam photos

Nice Double - Dash, do you also have a single dash? I don't know the difference can you explain it Chilebrown?

tommycopper1 I do not have a single dash of this particular model. I do have both single and double of the production offering. I understand the single dash came out in 1992. Later in the year there was a design change. They added the second dash to signify it was the later model with the change.

Thanks Roger for hosting another Sunday Picture Show. I always enjoy seeing rare Buck knives that I've never seen before. There's just a lot of information to take in on this forum.

This is my Buck Trapper Style 110/112. It has a brown bone handle with a 110 clip point blade and a 112 drop point blade.

Thank you Roger for another Sunday Picture Show. The tidbits and information you add along with the examples from your fine collection make this something I look forward to. Thanks also to those who add to what Roger starts each week.
I don't have an 805, not to long ago I thought this 405 was an 805  . What I have found out is, it is a 2001 Chuck Buck Signature Series LE(there was a later one with an 805). The blade is ATS 34, hardened to 60.4 RC, with the hardness test dot on the other side. Laminated oak handle.

Happy SPS everyone! Thanks for making the effort Roger! I talked to Armand yesterday evening. It was nice catching up with him. For those curious, he's well and enjoying the company of his grand kids!

STEELHEADBULLY STEELHEADBULLY - kudos for actually putting an old custom to work. Many spend their days in dark boxes huddled away for the rest of their days only to come out once in a blue moon for the flash of a camera.

This 927 spends a lot of time on my belt. I had a guy in Home Depot ask about it. I showed it to him and he asked where he could get one. I told him first, he had to find a time machine...

Here are some of my other 927s (and a 929)

Sometimes you forget what you ordered and when it arrives it's like a present. This one just arrived. I like it. I think it might even push the 112 Pro out of the custom open top sheath on my hiking belt. This one will be a user.

Nice bark on that.
One of the worries about Custom Shop orders is what the bark is going to be like. That one's a winner!

Wow. What a beauty. I have always been a fan of ATS 34. One of the great vintage super steels.
