What is there to do there?
yesterday was teaching the boy how to avoid the deep mud and stay on drier places and still stay in the same direction so he doesn't get lost. he's at the age he's exploring everywhere. easy to get lost back there avoiding the wet unless one has cellphone for GPS or compass with them. also how to watch for snakes in trees that fall on top of you if ya disturb or spook them. also how to look out for alligators. not my pic but someone found a good sized dead one recently in the river....facebook_1605239682611_6732863221736931200.jpg.jpg

can swim in the springs. jump from trees into the river...im too old for that nowadays. did it as kid. theres a river in there fed by couple springs. kayak the river. I brim fish on the river once in a rare while.....catch and release nowadays. when i was a kid we hunted squirrels. dont do that anymore. too developed around it now. no hunting anymore. yesterday was mostly just good old-fashioned out in the natural florida enjoyment.

All this talk about spring...when I left for Tennessee two weeks ago I hadn't even had my winter coat out yet here in Missouri. I just took these a few minutes ago.
Doesn't show up in the pic, but its snowing pretty good. Little tiny flakes.

We don't usually see much snow here in Oregon. I am about 20 miles north of Portland. It has been about 4 years since we had any at all except a minor dusting and when it does snow we usually don't get much and it usually doesn't stay around long. Friday night we got hammered with over a foot of snow. Tomorrow it is supposed to warm up to around 45 degrees. Than it becomes a slushy mess for a couple days.

So we got out and made a 6 foot snow man and decorated him with a custom shop 903 with giraffe bone handles. as a neck tie.
