Hello and welcome to the Sunday Picture Show. Share your Buck knives with others by posting pictures of them here. New or old, plain or custom, user or safe queen, one or a collection, we love to see them all. This weekly tradition was started in 2010 by ItsTooEarly (Armand Hernandez) and Oregon (Steve Dunn). Help keep the tradition alive. Feel free to click that 'LIKE' but lets not let it replace discussing and complimenting each others knives. DeSotoSky (Roger Yost)

William Henry Harrison, 9th President of the United States
Born on this Day February 9th, 1773, died April 4, 1841.

He was a son of Benjamin Harrison V, a U.S. Founding Father, and was the grandfather of Benjamin Harrison, the 23rd U.S. president.
.

Some say his death was the result of a Native American Curse, or was it pneumonia caught the day of his Inauguration?
Before elected President, Harrison had both a distinguished military and political career.
In 1811, he led a military force against Tecumseh's Confederacy at the Battle of Tippecanoe, where he earned the nickname "Old Tippecanoe" The "Curse of Tippecanoe" was an urban legend, possibly first noted In 1931, when the trivia book series Ripley's Believe It or Not! noted a pattern. The curse declared that Presidents elected or re-elected in years that end with the digit 0 would die in office. Since 1840, eight Presidents have died in office. Seven of them were elected in years divisible by 20: William Henry Harrison (1840), Abraham Lincoln (1860), James A. Garfield (1880), William McKinley (1900), Warren G. Harding (1920), Franklin D. Roosevelt (1940), and John F. Kennedy (1960). Ronald Regan (1980) did not die in office but did survive an assassination attempt.
.
On March 4th, the day of his Inauguration, he took off his overcoat & gloves, rode up Pennsylvania
avenue on a horse and delivered the longest Inaugral address in presidential history (2 hours) in the rain. It has been suggested he might have contracted pneumonia.
**Last President to be born before 1776 as a British subject.
**First President to die in Office.
**Shortest Presidency 32 days.
**First President to lie in State at the Capitol.

Haven't been squirrel hunting in decades, a deer hunting buddy has invited me to go with him in a couple weeks. Thinking about cleaning and which Buck Knife to use - right now thinking either one of these two. What do any of you more recent squirrel hunters use? OH
