The Sunday Picture Show (January 10, 2021)

Well, this weeks show is off to a good start. I will admit to some trepidation being the new host as this show has been been associated with Armand for so long. I tried to honor that in the preamble. Haebbie's 4 PRCA knife display with the boot and spur back ground really appeals to me as the 3 boots w/ spurs was my favorite knife of the series. It took forever for me to find the horse/rider (second from top) but I now have all 4. Thank you to all who I've not mentioned because I've enjoyed your pictures also.

Add my thanks to those happy to see the show continue. Today I have a couple of older 119’s, the top one from a family friend and the lower one from my Dad.

My 119 herd pic, it needs updating with the ones I've acquired after that photo... of all the Buck's, the 119 has me hooked the most.

I also wanted to help herald in the continuance of the SPS by posting in the first one for 2021, and say thanks to Roger for assuming the SPS mantle :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Probably not pursuing any new Buck Knives but will enjoy purchasing and find whats on the secondary market.

After the redo the Spitfire us a hell of a EDC. Slim, great materials and you used to be able to build your own online but haven't checked lately. The bottom two I had built at the last two sales.

Still breaking this one in. Just so humbled to own such a wonderful knife. My recently acquired Buck 110 CSK Elk Stag S30V. Appreciate all the effort folks make in displaying different parts of their collections. It is a learning experience and a Hoot for me. Thank you all.

redcanoe I always look at the NRA cutout Elk 112 you have..A absolute 1 of 1 and one that got away lol! I have a special place in my collection for oddballs like this one with I think every option Buck would make..Pad print blade, lazer etched handle, engraved bolsters and finger grooves!20190512_171030(0).jpg

View attachment 1488784 Thanks Roger for keeping the ball rolling. This is a theft prevention travel knife. When flying, I put the blade in checked luggage and carry the handle on. This BG-42 blade has been modified to fit Selector handles. The pocket clip screws are anchored in #2X56TPI Helicoils.View attachment 1488785
The idea of a theft prevention traveling knife is just too cool. After 911 I stopped flying by commercial air as I am naked without a pocket knife and used train and road travel instead. I will and do fly private, but now I am used to circumventing commercial air. Again, thanks for sharing such a cool idea.

Hi Rodger, (Haha could not resist) Thank you for taking the SPS baton from Armand and continuing this great event! What a great show you all put on this week, I enjoy seeing a glimpse of your knife collections and wish I had one just like them!

Stone custom 119 for the show (better late than never)
