The Sunday Picture Show (January 21st, 2024)

I'm being lazy. I don't have any pictures of my own for this one and am not feeling like digging it out. This is the seller's picture from 2019 when I got this:

The 110 was quite popular with sub sailors back in the 70s! Used to see the Nautilus running around the New London area with some kind of weird special equipment installed. I think it was assigned to the Naval Underwater Systems Center at the time. One of my former NPS instructors was the engineer officer. (The Rickover Effect, How One Man Made a Difference -- a friend of mine bought this at a used book sale and sent it to me several years ago. I put it aside and only recently re-discovered it. Still haven't gotten around to reading it. 😔) (The 110 is a two-dot and as near as I can determine is from the first year of two-dot production, either a V5V4 or a slightly earlier Stinzel V1. Purchased from a hardware store in Groton, CT.)

Would one of you gents be able to post a picture comparing spine thickness from early to recent examples? It is my understanding spine thickness has increased beginning with the transition to the "guide" model.
Pretty sure there were some discussions on this in the past. Even as the Fisherman there was some creep in blade thickness.

I believe I've posted this before. The top three scalers all came with double keeper strap sheaths. I assume the BUCK dot one is not original and the other two are but no way to know for sure.

What is the year range and steel for tip up, 3 line, with 4 spacers, please? Flap over snap sheath.
