A pair of 112's this week. When I ordered the January 2022 BOTM I decided to get a head start on my 2022 Ranger collection and pick up a pair of the new ones. Since it was mid January I figured I would be receiving the 50th Annniversary knives.... nope. What I did receive was an interesting transitional 112 and a standard 2021 finger groove. The top knife has the 2022 50th Anniversary blade in a standard handle. I will say that both knives are without fault. Looking at the website it now appears that Buck will be offering both the standard Rangers, and the 50th Anniversary versions for an upcharge. Now I'm left wondering if I can find a FG knife to match the top knife below.

Hi All,

The 49's pulled it off again this week! Thank you Roger for doing this weekly event called the Sunday Picture Show. Also, to the folks who post photos and add conversation please accept my deepest gratitude and keep the photos coming. I am still waiting for the 2022 order to be sent, so those treasures will have to be shown some other time (waiting is the hardest part).

Here is the over priced 112 I got before the end of last year in preparation for this years 112 fest. The scales I got were not worth the price of admission IMHO. But, the rest of the knife was just fine.

DeSotoSky I believe 2022 standard 112s will have the anniversary stamped blade, just no badge and no fancy box. At least they are presented as so in the catalog. I would think your recently received 2021 was part of leftover stock from 2021.

This week I picked up this 4-dot in a good condition. I love the old blocked style handle 110's. Cleaned her properly, did a little polishing, fixed the blade play and gave it a scary sharp edge again. She will be carried and used a lot.
(sorry, I don't have any funny cartoons to share at this moment)

It was a 5 dollar flea market find. It is not an ashtray and your guess is as good as mine what it is. I am guessing it is a base for a wine decanter or something like that. I thought it would make a good knife photo prop.

This post will push us to page 2. My January 2022 BOTM 055. Perfect fit and finish. I was expecting a bit more red than reddish brown but like others have commented, it does match Buck's image.
