Hello and welcome to the Sunday Picture Show. Share your Buck knives with others by posting pictures of them here. New or old, plain or custom, user or safe queen, one or a collection, we love to see them all. This weekly tradition was started in 2010 by ItsTooEarly (Armand Hernandez) and Oregon (Steve Dunn). Help keep the tradition alive. Feel free to click that 'LIKE' but lets not let it replace discussing and complimenting each others knives. Above all, enjoy the show. DeSotoSky (Roger Yost)

Anyone here remember the good ole days when "Web Specials" were actually special? Buck offered many interesting limited run build outs at really good prices back in the day. This Cherrywood 116 Caper was a build out of 57 in 2011. 116 Capers were not a standard catalog knife in 2002 but were included in the Klinkhammer Series I set that year so I speculate these blades were left over from that project. There is a build out list by Hubbard as a sticky.

Thanks for another Sunday Picture Show, Roger. Thanks to all who post and comment.
I remember the build out era producing some special knives. Was Joe Houser instrumental in starting it? He was the pack rat type and being Buck's historian he had access to all left over parts.
Maybe DOGPOUND77 DOGPOUND77 Craig will know.
Here's one of mine. 192 Vanguard, stag handle and mirror polished blade. Not listed on J. Hubbard's Build Out List so IDK for sure.

Thought I'd throw a little orange in the mix this morning. Hope everybody has a great Sunday and Go Chiefs!!
