The Sunday Picture Show (January 30, 2022)

Hi All you Buck Nut's,

I trust you are enjoying a safe & peaceful Sunday. Thank you MR. Yost for the dedication of setting up this weekly event called the Sunday Picture Show. In addition, I'm so grateful to all of you who take the time to post photos and add to the conversation here to the SPS.

I'll add a photo of a caper and a photo of an old score on the build outs when they were offered to us here on BF.

I think a lot of the Build out knives used to be done for Buck events like their parking lot sales, Employee sales, Buck store sales (yes they did get rid of old parts). As most of us here do not live close to the factory with some urging Buck allowed us to request a sales/price list and we were able to email or call our orders in. I miss the good old days!

(repeat) I purchased this one for the sheath. The maker got it just right. You can shake it upside down and the knife stays in place but still draws in and out nicely. Thought it odd that the two rivets were different, one bright and the other brass. Notice the pommel, the early castings had porosity and instead of discarding it Buck would plug the defect. I have several examples of this in my collection.

Happy SPS everyone nice knives and pictures here’s Buck 112 I think it’s the first one numbered with # 001 with a drop point, it looks like it has polished G10, and a couple homemade Buck items I invented a slim zippo with a lanyard bead I cut in half, and the anvil is just an old Avon cologne bottle with a Buck sticker

This is a majority of Buck 110 Build outs. Theses are from 2005 when Buck moved to Idaho until recently. There are 5 or 6 that I did not get a copy of, most of were one of a kind. Starting at 110B01 upper left through 110BO50, and a couple miscellaneous 110s bottom right case.

Good Evening Roger and all who partake in this fine Sunday Spectacle. Spent the day in Belleville, IL and picked up a few Bucks. Wondering what you gentlemen make of unusual/wrong/fake(?) blade stamp on an otherwise genuine appearing 110.......

other than the unpolished brass and someone having aggressively sharpened/shortened the tip it appears exact in fit and finish to the top/authentic 110.

Never seen one with two rivets. Great collector's item.
