Welcome to the Sunday Picture Show. This show marks the beginning of my 5th year as your host.
It is an honor being allowed my turn in carrying on this forum tradition now starting its 15th year.
Thank you for your support and hope you have enjoyed the show as much as I have bringing it every week.

For the first show of 2025 falling on the 5th day of the New Year I have some random 525 Gents.

Good Sunday morning, everyone! Thanks, Roger, for hosting the show for us each week. And thanks to everyone who contributes. I've recently started collecting these little guys:

I really like the 425, and I carry one often as a back up knife. I'm enjoying the challenge of finding all of the different colors. The four brightly colored ones in the photo above are all 1988 models.

Hope you all have a great day today!

Thank you again for hosting the SPS. The 525’s are fine little knives. I wish I bought some when the were readily available. I bought them as gifts for people but figured they would be around for a long time.

The little 425’s are great.I’ve had one in my tackle box for 20 years or so.

My random contribution to start the year off.

Thanks for the SPS Roger, and all who participate. While I was patiently waiting for the Custom Shop to offer the 112 in Magnacut last year, they came out with a 110, and I just couldn't hold out any longer.

Happy New Year everyone one!

A magnacut 110 and 112 with Honduran Rosewood.

I really like that Union Pacific 525! The family and I were recently at the National Railroad Museum and they have a Union Pacific Big Boy in their collection. It is an impressive machine. It’s hard to get the true scale in a picture. It is about 133 feet long and weighs around 550 Tons.

This is a 1997 custom mosaic wood pattern handled Buck 110. A version of this knife was offered for a limited time by Santa Fe Stoneworks. This particular knife has an eagle pattern on one side and a deer pattern on the other. I believe Santa Fe Stoneworks offered this as two separate knives. Santa Fe Stoneworks did the customization but sold them through SMKW. This knife was obtained from the Matheny Collection which originally came from the Buck archives. It possibly is a sample/prototype of the two designs.
