Hello and welcome to the Sunday Picture Show. Share your Buck knives with others by posting pictures of them here. New or old, plain or custom, user or safe queen, one or a collection, we love to see them all. This weekly tradition was started in 2010 by ItsTooEarly (Armand Hernandez) and Oregon (Steve Dunn). Help keep the tradition alive. Feel free to click that 'LIKE' but lets not let it replace discussing and complimenting each others knives. Above all, enjoy the show. DeSotoSky (Roger Yost)

Yes I've shown this before but it is my all time favorite knife & pet photo. This was not staged, Tinker(bell) stuck her nose in just at the right moment. A young kitten here, now 8 years old. She is a door ninja, favorite trick is hiding below the dog on the way out.

About the knife. This is the model 017 Thorn, a 2014 Legacy limited edition of 500 designed by Mark McLean. An impulse buy at a gun show, I could not leave it lay after handling it. Beautiful high polished dark blueing on 5160 spring steel and an interesting & grippy CNC contoured Rosewood handle. It is truly a little piece of jewelry and perfect in every way. That said, now about the sheath... OMG, what were they thinking?? In my opinion, totally uncomplimentary to the knife in size or design. Allen nuts & bolts? Grossly oversized for the knife and a poor fit. Additionally the knife came supplied with a cute little Buffalo horn stand.

Dutch injured his supraspinatus tendon in his left shoulder, last fall, sometime after I took this photo. He was treated and we have been rehabbing for the last 4-5 months. I'm hoping that he will be ready for the upcoming hunting season.
I used the Buck-A G Russell 308 canoe to keep the mallard from rolling off the log.

enjoying the show this beautiful Sunday. thanks Roger for hosting for us. thanks all for pics of knives and pets.

Roger your cat is named tinkerbell?😅 did i read that right?

story time.....about one of the cats I had....

I've had lots of pets. had Airedale terriers as a boy growing up. cause my old man liked them. various stray junkyard cats that hung around that I fed pieces of hotdogs as a boy. a few cats girlfriends had and some I got stuck with. this tales on one of them that was with me the longest. i was never a cat guy though. all of them long gone.

as a young adult a gal I lived with brought home a kitten one day her friend found in a trash bin and gave to her. long story short this gal broke up with me and left her cat with me. I didn't pay much attention to it, or that gal and may be why she left.🤔🤣

I was stuck with her. so that hbo film gia came out and I was watching it and the cat was always lookin for love and attention and it reminded me of gia in the film, and so I named her gia.

had to take care of her. had her for a bit over 20 years...had to put her down a few years ago. realized then I'd been with this animal longer than about anything.....

I've never been much of a pet person. I do miss this one because I spent a good chunk of my young adult life with this cat. she was always around until she wasn't. 20160701_184558_compress33.jpg
