Here's two little fellas that found a new home. The first is a nice stag Model 196 Mini Alpha Hunter that I found sitting unloved on the corner of a gun dealers table. BOS ATS-34 blade and date code 2003. The other little fella I found as a kitten years ago on the 4th of July sitting unloved along a rural roadside 10 oclock at night. Date code 2008. Named him Indy for Independence Day. Indy (rip) was a great cat and bonded with one of our Pyrenees, Heidie. Whenever we walked the dogs Indy would follow, running from tree to bush etc. If he fell behind, Heidie would stop and wait for him to catch up. Great amusement for the neighbors...

Here is the rest of Indy's family, our previous generation of pets. 2 great Pyrenees, Heidie and Mollie, the gray cat was Sweetie. You know you were boarded when 200+ pounds of hair tried to sneak on the bed the middle of the night. Those 2 dogs were impervious to cold, couldn't make them come in when it snowed. We just kinda looked at each other and chuckled when ever the weatherman predicting freezing temperatures warned viewers to make sure all pets were inside. The could have if they wanted, had a dog door on the lower level. Had to have the AC in the summer though. I'm a lot older and grayer now.

Always these needless knife photos. It’s tiring.

I'm sorry for your loss, JB. Ranger, our proud Ridgeback is short to die. He has some health issues and we are counting on his death shortly. The shown photo is a few weeks old, when he was still as fit as a sports shoe.

At one time we had quite a few animals / pets around our house. We now are down to just my sons bearded dragon.
From left to right. Our cat Kitty, Sheltie Daisy, The black lab Tye, And Daisy's son Max. They have all passed on with the last one Max about 1-1/2 years ago.
Shelty's are easily trained to do just about anything a dog can do. They are extremely smart dogs. Max was a super fetcher. As you can see in the 2nd picture
Max developed a large tumor on his forehead that ended up engulfing one of his eyes. About a month after this picture we had to put him down. We miss them all.
They are all buried together with our first dog Mickey out in our woods behind our home in a special spot.

It is so nice to see every one's pets, and Bucks. This is Chilco she is the newest member of our family. Today Chilco is wearing a Smidgen.

Next up is Sadie (RIP 2/19) she was wearing a Kaala.

Sadie very much reminds me of the Irish Setter we had. He (Kelly) passed away back in the early 80's. Kind of a free spirit, could climb any fence and loyal to the very end.

Here is Tuna, guarding a charcoal 301:

And my departed very best friend, I lost him to bone cancer in 2004 at age 7 (about 6 months after this photo)... gone much too soon, and I still miss him a lot.

He saw me through the stress of a nasty divorce and multiple corporate downsizing's in the same year, that threatened to send my IT job off to India and eliminate my job. There is no doubt in my mind that his companionship was key in me keeping my freaking sanity during a really difficult and not too happy period in my life.

He had some endearing quirky moments that would make me laugh out loud, like this one, where he became absolutely transfixed on of all things, a beetle making it's way along the driveway. He followed and watched that thing for almost 20 minutes before he had enough, I would love to have known what was running though his mind all that time.
