Hello and welcome to the Sunday Picture Show. Share your Buck knives with others by posting pictures of them here. New or old, plain or custom, user or safe queen, one or a collection, we love to see them all. This weekly tradition was started in 2010 by ItsTooEarly (Armand Hernandez) and Oregon (Steve Dunn). Help keep the tradition alive. Feel free to click that 'LIKE' but lets not let it replace discussing and complimenting each others knives. Above all, enjoy the show. DeSotoSky (Roger Yost)

The newest addition to my family of 500 Dukes, a nice Stag handle with a multi colored blade etch celebrating the 500th year since Columbus bumped into North America accidentally while trying to reach the Orient. 1492 - 1992. I believe these multi color etches are by Taylor. They are distinctive with the engraved box lids and serial number location. Mine has #018 engraved on the bolster. Interestingly, I also have #010 with wood handles (camera shy), everything else being the same. The Special Projects list shows the stag handles but not the wood. I think the Stag knife handles from the 80's are the best Buck ever did. No production quantity is given. There are two other Buck knives from the same time period celebrating the 500th year. Both are 110's. One has Corian handles with a scrimshaw scene and the other has wood handles with gold blade etch.

Happy SPS to all.

Nothing special... just a plain Jane 500, my only one. I can already see that this SPS is going to be a drool fest for me.

Hey.... Does this 1st cousin, Remington R50013 (incognito 500) bullet knife count?

The Buck 500, a very exciting knife when the 110 & 112 were only offered with Clip Blades. Sort of a forgotten knife now that droppoints are common on the 110/112. I haven’t seen one in a Buck Knives display case in years - the 501 seems to get that space. My only one. OH

DesotoSkySky, Thankyou for putting on the Sunday Picture Show. Your 500 Duke is a very nice knife with spectacular stag handles. I have quit a few Taylor etched stag handled 110's with the etched box. I have asked around trying to find more information with not a lot of luck. There is an agreement between Larry Oden, John Forseman and others that Taylor actually did the complete aftermarket customization including the stag handles. Today I am sharing a camel bone handle Buck 110

A Standard 500 from 2013. The beauty of this knife to me is that as an average sized guy, it is about as large of a knife as I want to pocket carry. I rarely carry a brass 110 or 112 in the pocket, but the rounded contours of this one works well in a jeans pocket.
