0000 Sunday Picture Show 1024X label.jpg
Hello and welcome to the Sunday Picture Show. Share your Buck knives with others by posting pictures of them here. New or old, plain or custom, user or safe queen, one or a collection, we love to see them all. This weekly tradition was started in 2010 by ItsTooEarly (Armand Hernandez) and Oregon (Steve Dunn). Help keep the tradition alive. Feel free to click that 'LIKE' but lets not let it replace discussing and complimenting each others knives. Above all, enjoy the show. DeSotoSky (Roger Yost)

Random off the shelf, a nice pair of build outs from 2016. A matched set, 191 (BO7) and 192 (BO16). Lots of nice features on these. Featuring DLC (Diamond-Like-Coating), Nickel Silver furniture, CPM154 steel, stamped not etched markings. and Rosewood Dymondwood handles. I'm pretty sure these blades were left over from Bass Pro knives offered for a number of years. The 191 blade dates to 2008 and the 192 to 2006. The packaging label date on these was the same 3-1-2016. I purchased these directly from Buck in November 2016 in an online web specials sale. Back in those says the web special sales were really some pretty exciting deals.

I'm curious, I have a number of 905's, I think one is a custom shop crown stag but none have the Mountain Man logo. What is the deal with that marking?

The old custom shop 905's have the Mountain Man logo, the one above is an early logo and straight grind, then the old Custom shop added a banner to the logo and then a bit later added rounded style grind. The newer 905's don't have the Logo.

C Chilebrown Not a Buck Knife, rather a copy, but I own a STORMIN' NORMAN lock-back too - this one is a Camillus Sword Brand from the same era. Yours is the first Buck 110 I've seen with that etch - very nice stag! OH

Old Hunter, if I did not see the 'Sword Brand" blade stamp I might of thought that was a Buck. That is a nice knife. My knife was customized by
Taylor Cutlery of Kingsport Tennessee.

Love the mountain mans logo, not seen that early one JB very nice 👍

here’s a pair of of blue fibron Damascus 110s, under certain lighting you can see the colours within the handle.

picked up a pair of buck t shirts for a British friend that’s becoming addicted to the buck frenzy

Roger, thanks for your dedicated efforts every Sunday...well through out the week for that matter. Thanks to everyone who posts and comments here to make this forum so enjoyable.

This is an older 'build-out', not sure when I purchased it, wishing now I'd had kept records. Oh well, it's unique, with very little bark on the stag and a mirror polished blade. Here it is for your viewing pleasure...

Back in 08 Buck did a collaboration with Rob Simonich Knives. Buck made one knife with Simonich Knives, Rob Simonich died in an accident in 03, the knife was the Buck/ Simonch Raven Legacy. The first time I saw this knife I wanted one. Unfortunately I missed out and due to the end of the collaboration they became hard to find and expensive. Recently I found one here on the forum, so I finally got one. The knife is light and I like the feel of it. The Raven will be a user for me.
