A 110 Federal—Buck didn't try to make a replica of the 1st Version, but they did a good job of creating the character of the 1st Version.

Thanks Roger for doing the Sunday Picture Show. Continuing the discussion of using lighter knives so you can carry more of them at the same time. I previously mentioned cored scales and skinny knives.
Today it’s materials. White and yellow brass scales are the heaviest. Silver and Nickel are mostly gone from German Silver. Brass is a mixture of Copper and Zinc. The knives in the left column weigh about 7 oz. (30gm/oz). Titanium is 40% lighter than brass. Middle knife is 5oz. Aluminum is 66% lighter than brass. The Al and wood knife is heavier than the all Al knife because it is thicker. Both are around 4oz. The Valox Selector is about 3oz. Further reductions are possible using Titanium blades and skeletonized handles.View attachment 2222999

After I got the stealth run magnacut I was considering how great a 110 sport in Magnacut would be. Lol you got one lol. That’ll make a great edc !

I somehow ended with three of these burgundy 212s...these were dark and did not show the burgundy micarta well. They're D2 so there's that

I have 2 of those. It’s a shame they are so dark, but mine are great users. I carry mine a lot.

Agreed.
Those micarta 212s are great fixed blade edc's.
Finally a small fixed blade with a real handle.
I wish Buck would go with a better factory sheath tho.

I agree the sheaths are awful.

I’m very happy with my modified sheaths and they are holding up well

Its a shame because Buck already has the pattern for the perfect 212 sheath. This sheath came with a newer Caper. It fits the 212 perfectly. But Buck doesn’t have any more.
