The Sunday Picture Show (June 1st, 2025)

Thank you Roger for hosting the Sunday Picture Show. This is a stealth take apart Aluminum club knife. The scales are black G-10. The S-30 blade is coated with TDLC.

I looked for quite awhile, this morning, for that other BOTM 301, October 2022. 2 blade, S30V, flat ground, OD green Micarta but could not find it. I must have missed out.

Hope someone will post a photo, maybe that will jog my feeble mind.

Good morning. Some planning for second trip of the year with two of my favorite Bucks. Hope they continue to use this scale material, it really has to be seen in person to appreciate it.

Thanks again for the SPS Roger. And as always, really enjoying the knife photos posted.

Since getting the 500 Duke pair this week, I've already concluded 1) I'll use them more than the 112 as they're the same size range but less chonky, and 2) I like the 532 better but mine is the 2023 Limited Edition, so it'll get used less. I'm at that point where the smaller knives in the 2.5" - 3" blade range are in the sweet spot, for me anyways, so most (but not all) of my knives will be trending in that direction.

I'm currently doing a "one month one camera one lens" challenge for June on a photo forum. I chose my Pentax Monochrome for the camera, so there'll be a larger number of B&W images this month.

I only remembered 3 2-blade Stockmans. You set me in a panic...did I miss one? First stop was old Buck emails...I did order it. Whew! Now where could it be? Too many knives when you can't remember what you have, or where they are.

There should be four, two bladed 301s by my count. The 2018 BF knife, two BOTMs and the one from the 2025 Limited Collection that has the 2018 BF knife blades.

Interestingly, I never got an email. I think I did the unsubscribe because I tired of Buck's numerous emails.

I'm going to pass, I have two of the 2018 Blade Forum 301s that are just a bit better appointed than this one, plus I rarely carry one. I'll count on this forum to get BOTM info, with Buck doing 500 of the BOTM knives my FOMO is low.

I always look forward to the SPS but usually don't get to read it until Monday. It's a quiet weekend, and my son is unpacking from a scouting camp out.

I'm going with the two-blade stockman theme. I'd love to see a two-blade 303 as a web special or BOTM someday. The 301 had just trimmed some branches out of the way for the photo, so it has a bit of gunk on the blade.

I have to agree with your sentiment (and beautiful Vantage). For me a Buck Vantage is THE modern style pocketknife, I have three and all get used regularly. OH
