This "red micarta" 119 in S30V always struck me as being a shade of pink................

Not pink, but maybe the handle profile of this 597 folding Ergo Hunter resembles a flamingo?

I was blessed to see and photograph a rare wild flamingo in Florida last year that got blown off course in a hurricane.

If it weren't for their diet, flamingoes wouldn't be pink. The brine shrimp and algae they eat contain compounds that give them their pink color.

The closest thing I could dig out that was kind of on the pink side of the spectrum... a 710 Volt

My 'Flamingo' is this 486 user.
I have two of these, this one has faded to a nice pink while the other is still more of the orange colour due to being in the box.

After saying that flamingoes aren't really pink, it's because of their diet, I remembered something else. Bluebirds aren't really blue. No birds have blue pigments. They appear blue because of the way their feathers diffract light—bluebirds have structural color. So much for the "bluebird of happiness".
