Hello and welcome to the Sunday Picture Show. Share your Buck knives with others by posting pictures of them here. New or old, plain or custom, user or safe queen, one or a collection, we love to see them all. This weekly tradition was started in 2010 by ItsTooEarly (Armand Hernandez) and Oregon (Steve Dunn). Help keep the tradition alive. Feel free to click that 'LIKE' but lets not let it replace discussing and complimenting each others knives. Above all, enjoy the show. DeSotoSky (Roger Yost)
This week I am sharing a Buck 317 Trailblazer. A Camillus pattern knife, they were offered in the Buck catalog from 1972 to 1989. The etch on my knife is for the 200th anniversary of the U.S. Constitution. There were 3 other etches that I know of. 25th Anniversary NASA, Americas Farmers, and Railroads. Another variation to find is one with a serrated secondary blade. A few may have come out of the original custom shop with Mastodon Ivory or burgundy Micarta. The earliest may have handle pins and "Made in USA" with the model number on the pyle side. Larry Oden Did a short piece on the 317 Trailblazer in the March 2005 Newsletter.
