The Sunday Picture Show (March 14, 2021)

Hi All & happy SPS. Thank you Roger and everyone who post's to the show!

Here is a few of the Taylor Cutlery Buck's in my pile. Taylor supplied the wood boxes with their knives (I like the boxes better than their clumsy poorly colored inside the lines etchings). Please note: The Hoffritz is not a Taylor knife it was just in the stand.

Happy SPS guys...
Yesterday I got out and checked out a couple of local lakes. The air was warm, but the water not so much; fish were uncooperative.

View attachment 1527129 I got these Aluminum thumb studs at the Buck factory store. I like them because they are movable, removable, and reversible. The set screw is in the long side. The knurling prevents thumb slippage.
I am not a lefty, but it is not hard to switch the clip and the stud.
Notice my crude attempt at jimping the rocker on the left hand knife. I have since gotten a cross slide for more precision work.
 
Thanks for all who contributed so far. I've seen and learned a few new things myself today. The Taylor etches do have a distinctive crudeness to them. Remember, today is Daylight Savings and we have an hour less to play but there is still time. I am waiting for someone to show up with a gold etched 112 Ranger with a canoe...;o)

I spent a few days in the woods this past week, scouting for turkey, shooting some firearms, and fishing in the farm pond and in the river. Had an old faithful Buck 110 on my hip and an equally old faithful Ruger 44 in a shoulder holster. OH

What a fun SPS... knives, guns and vintage Garcia-Mitchell reels, what's not to love? Amazing how much common interest exists here, given how eclectic it can be.
