Be careful showing that non Buck Damascus blade around. There was a recent thread over on the BCCI site about an eBay seller who was selling a 110 with a custom Damascus blade. The argument being it could only legitimately be called a BUCK knife if it had a Buck blade. Suggestion was the seller should be reported to eBay and Buck.
I got the loose blade on the Bay from a well known fabricator. He did not represent the blade as a genuine Buck. I have factory and non-factory 110 Damascus blades, and there is little similarity between them. The newer Take Apart 110’s let you move the blades around.Be careful showing that non Buck Damascus blade around. There was a recent thread over on the BCCI site about an eBay seller who was selling a 110 with a custom Damascus blade.
