Holy heck... there's some outstanding knives being posted today, I wish I had deployed my keyboard drool shield before looking at this SPS.

117 Buildout - Cocobolo, Brass and 5160 blade... 36 made. It was listed on the Buck website as having red micarta spacers, but they came with black... too bad.

... I know I'm a broken record on this but speaking as someone who has '20' knife boxes to store these are just plain unreasonable.

First off, thanks for hosting "The Sunday Picture Show"!

My 117 BOTM arrived this Friday. I am working from home and was rushing to open it during my lunch break. I already own a 117, so I know how small they are. Because I was in a hurry, I kind of lost track of what to expect. When I opened the large box and saw how small the 117 was, I was like what the heck, this thing is dinky! LOL!

Anyway, here are my two 117s along with distressed leather sheaths that fit them perfectly. (I believe the sheaths are Buck rejects originally meant for 105s. but were too small.)

Wow... those sheaths are a perfect match for those knives, I sure like their looks!
