Hello and welcome to the Sunday Picture Show. Share your Buck knives with others by posting pictures of them here. New or old, plain or custom, user or safe queen, one or a collection, we love to see them all. This weekly tradition was started in 2010 by ItsTooEarly (Armand Hernandez) and Oregon (Steve Dunn). Help keep the tradition alive. Feel free to click that 'LIKE' but lets not let it replace discussing and complimenting each others knives. DeSotoSky (Roger Yost)

This year, 2025, is the 20th anniversary for the Buck Knives relocation to Post Falls Idaho. (2005 - 2025)
Does anyone pick up Idaho tang stamp knives preferentially? I do. If you have some, lets see them.

Here is a nice 2005 FG 112 Ranger to start the show.

An issue of 1,300 SFO for Smoky Mountain. Notice the 112 blade is "Last Production" 2004 and the 110 is "First Production" 2005.

There were 4 knives based on the 402 Akonua with the Idaho Cutout.
The original and first was the Dealer Only knife I show above.
Then there were three different buildouts.
402BO had a black palmwood handle and was sold at the BCCI 25th event.
The last two I think were sold as web specials.
0402BO1 was similar to BO2 except it had micarta inserts instead of the fret material.

0402BO2. Solid rosewood handle, not Dymondwood, with guitar fret type inserts and a nickel silver guard.

I was never a fan of the 101 design. And still not really a fan. But I will say it seems perfectly balanced and is a solid knife. I’m a fan of the 5160 steel and that is what sold me on this one. And the specific 101 marked sheath, meaning Buck didn’t try and stuff it in a previous numbered sheath they had laying around.

Thanks Roger for doing the Sunday Picture Show. This is a 110 Legacy take apart Aluminum knife. The brown linen Micarta scales were offered by the club at the 2018 30th BKCC Reunion. The aftermarket blade is CPM S110V. With modular construction and a removable pocket clip, this knife can be configured in many ways.IMG_7069.jpeg

Good Morning Gents. Thank You Roger for hosting another fine SPS. Thanks as well to those who take part in today's show.

I certainly hope Buck has plans for some 20th Idaho Anniversary knives. I have many Idaho blades, however this re-bladed V5V3 is my favorite.......

Thanks Roger for the Sunday Picture Show. Thanks also to those who post photos and comment.
I like the 2005 Idaho tang/date stamp. I have several and plan on more when I can find them.
Here are a couple. The brown bone re-handle done by Leroy and the 2015 10th anniversary edition.
I also hope they plan something for the 20th anniversary.

Model 281 NXT with the 2005 Idaho date code.
One handed opening 2-3/4" liner lock blade in a thermoplastic frame with rubber overmold. New in 2000 and gone after 2006. Look for variations in Blue, Red, Gray, and Cobalt. Serrated and unserrated. The model 282 is the same knife in solid plastic without the rubber overmold.
