In early as well - thanks again for hosting the SPS.

My pair of 379s, kinda forget they're around. Have the pair after learning my lesson with a similar sized Case (Pen) and misplacing it to the point of replacing as I thought I lost it. Anywhos, easy to carry, sharp, great for small tasks. As with all of my knives these days, they show some wear from handling and carry, but see little use. My days of frequent and hard use of knives is long gone.

Thanks for the SPS, and history reminder. I remember those Olds Cutlasses in 1975, but my wife & I were just starting out then, and it was quite a few years before we could afford a new car.
And my Sunday pic of today's carry:

Thanks for this Sunday's Picture Show and the history throwback. Never knew that the digital camera was invented in/by Eastman Kodak. I know they had a big facility near me in Windsor, Colorado starting around the 70's.
Also, thanks to all who post photos and comment.

Happy SPS

The Sprints are very nice knives with a great ball bearing action
I had these three. I sold the middle one to a friend and was quite satisfied with myself for actually selling, as opposed to buying, a knife

So...time passes. A short amount of time.
...and I replaced it with this one :D

Cool coloration on those scales. 👍

If anyone is interested... Kodak not only developed the digital camera and failed to gain market initiative (they sold their tech to competitors, increasing profits but likely leading to their eventual decline in the digital camera world), they also developed the first monochrome (B&W) digital camera in 2001. The DCS 760M, with a 6.3 megapixel APS-H CCD sensor from Phillips. Once the big camera companies began their digital SLR push, it was decline time for Kodak Digital. We wouldn't see another monochrome digital camera until the Leica M Monochrom in 2012, with multiple model follow-ons over the years. Leica had a lock on the (expensive) monochrome camera market until 2023 when Pentax released the much less expensive K3mkIII Monochrome, a 25.7 megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor DSLR.

Yeah, I might be a little bit of a camera geek. 🤣

I sometimes struggle figuring out the SPS themes, so hope this is ok for today...since it's turkey season, here's a 117 after a successful morning hunt. I love the size and shape of the 117, and the upgraded handle and steel make it an awesome user.
