Not to worry, I don't think there has to be an identifiable theme. If there, is it is not chiseled in stone.I sometimes struggle figuring out the SPS themes
One of my favorite parts of the Sunday Picture Show is seeing a little bit of everything come together for the day. It seems rare for me to have something relatable to the theme so I just try to participate with a knife I’ve enjoyed lately.I sometimes struggle figuring out the SPS themes, so hope this is ok for today...since it's turkey season, here's a 117 after a successful morning hunt. I love the size and shape of the 117, and the upgraded handle and steel make it an awesome user.

You know if it's 1095 or SS?
Ohhhh.... the one that got away. I had a 317 by Schrade with the Wonda Edge serrations. Still kicking my self for letting it go. I have always been a fan of the folding hunters. Don't tell anyone, but I would love to have a TESTED (shhh) in green bone, but that's another story.Something about a 317, just seems to feel right.View attachment 2872242
Don't worry about a theme, all Buck knives qualify. I try to show something interesting or new but other times I get lazy and post a repeat. It is nice sometimes to see variations of a particular knife. With 52 SPS's a year, repeats are going to be inevitable.I sometimes struggle figuring out the SPS themes, so hope this is ok for today...since it's turkey season, here's a 117 after a successful morning hunt. A Damascus Sprint?!?
I picked it up from Craig a few years ago. He listed it as a 1 of 2 prototype.A Damascus Sprint?!?
Where did that come from?
Happy SPS! Beautiful day here in PA. Mowing and yard work. Breaking in a new in the box 302 Solitaire that I had saved. I love these!
