The Sunday Picture Show (May 2, 2021)

Been on the boat most of the day, getting it ready to cruise, cruising, and then cleaning it up. Carried my 303 Cadet, stainless always a good option on saltwater. OH

I never did send my 408 with the loose guard back to Buck.
I was wondering if it would tighten up with a humidity change.
I grabbed it today, and everything's fine.

It's always a good idea to let wood acclimate before doing any detail work.

I guess it's true for knives too.

It's cool.
I'm happy with it.

I don't have any good pics of my 309 and its temporarily misplaced :( Its the standard black valox so y'all know what it looks like. Here's a 310 and a 709. The 310 is great small knife. Useful blade selection

jb, what's the story on the 309 with turquoise inlays?

Bert
Hi Bert, the makers mark is DY Navaho, so I would say Dolores Yazzie. Some month's back there was a dump of these on the big auction site. This sold for much less than I expected.

Thanks to all who contributed so we could have a great show.
Hope to see you all again next week but feel free to continue to post and comment here until then.

Spoiler alert: Next week I'm thinking I'll find something tactical, not my thing but I know alot of you out there are holding and need equal opportunity... :)
