Hello and welcome to the Sunday Picture Show. Share your Buck knives with others by posting pictures of them here. New or old, plain or custom, user or safe queen, one or a collection, we love to see them all. This weekly tradition was started in 2010 by ItsTooEarly (Armand Hernandez) and Oregon (Steve Dunn). Help keep the tradition alive. Feel free to click that 'LIKE' but lets not let it replace discussing and complimenting each others knives. Above all, enjoy the show. DeSotoSky (Roger Yost)

Today our forum is saddened learning the loss of out longtime friend, contributor, and moderator, David Martin. With the loss of David on my mind this evening while preparing for this weeks picture show I thouught what better way to honor him this week than to showcase some of his favorite knives. For sure, the 334 Millenium Trapper was unquestionably high on his list. It's not hard to find David's quotes about his favorite.

"Buck would need to build a 334 Trapper or 317 for me to place a order. Those are the slip joints I am interested in. DM"
"I used both knives while carving, the 426 and 334. (on carving pumpkins)"
"I really like the 334 Millennium Trapper. DM"
"I really like the 334 Trapper for it's size and blade shapes. The only other slip joint I could live with is Buck's 317 Trailblazer."
"My 334 Trapper gets Frog Lube but I think it is only slightly better than mineral oil. DM"
"If someone thinks a 301 is a beast. Wait until you procure a 334 Trapper. DM"

"I have a few favorites, the 334 Trapper, the BCCI paperstone, drop point (110 & 112) and the Heritage 500. All of these get used. DM"

Clearly, David liked the big folding trapper style slipjoints. The 317 Trailblazer and 428 Selector also come to mind. Another set of knives David was always extolling the virtues of was the Empress Trio Cutlery set. So if you've got them, lets see them and any other Buck knife you can recall David taking a liking to. If David helped or touched your life in some way, please feel free to share that here also. As always, all Buck knives qualify for and are welcomed at the Sunday Picture Show.

Thank you Roger for another Sunday Picture Show and to all who post and comment.

Yes, he did. I remember when he first posted about the Buck 334 Jumbo Trapper, you could sense his excitement through his words and photos. It drove me and others on a search to acquire one or two or more...

Thanks Roger, nice photo of David. One of David's favorite knives was a limited edition 110 in S-90-V with blue G-10 scales. Even though it was probably one of his newer knives, he called it "Old Blue". David also fabricated Selector blades to suit his specific needs. He was one handy guy. RIP David!View attachment 1573592
Thanks Norm, I have been trying to find the posts he did when processing the chickens and comparing the 110s in 420HC, S30V and the S90V. He did like that steel and knife!
