Great knife Preston. However, the original photo (tin type?) of your ancestor is a treasure. This is a photo of a distant relative from my paternal grandmother's side of the family, with my AG 308 canoe.
Thanks, Matthew, I wish I knew more about him. IIRC there's something written in some papers of genealogical research that a relative has. Maybe I can find out who. Here is a copy of a newspaper article regarding an ancestor of my maternal Grandmother.
I had one of these for many years and I kick myself for selling it everytime I see one, It may be a repro but I have always liked themFederal from 2014 production.

The Civil War Battles and I think some of the Confederate Generals were not a 'Buck' project so much as special orders by a Gordon McCoy of Virginia. Tried figuring out who he was without much luck. I guess no Blue-Belly fans ordered any custom knives.Did Buck ever do any knives that honored men who fought to preserve the Union; Grant, Sherman, Sheridan, Hancock, Meade, etc.?
has a trademark next to it, seems like someone made a trademarked name for that product rather than a misspelling.....Cremicam Ebony? LOL
Buck needs to hire a spell-checker.

The trademark was for Crelicam Ebony. It's a sustainable wood that is grown and harvested for commercial sale, rather than harvest wild ebony.has a trademark next to it, seems like someone made a trademarked name for that product rather than a misspelling.....
I seem to have a few COA's with a few misspelled words.someone screwed up--funny i noticed that when i took pictures today..
That's not a misspelling,that's a stutter.LOL
