Hello and welcome to the Sunday Picture Show. Share your Buck knives with others by posting pictures of them here. New or old, plain or custom, user or safe queen, one or a collection, we love to see them all. This weekly tradition was started in 2010 by ItsTooEarly (Armand Hernandez) and Oregon (Steve Dunn). Help keep the tradition alive. Feel free to click that 'LIKE' but lets not let it replace discussing and complimenting each others knives. Above all, enjoy the show. DeSotoSky (Roger Yost)

Life's Little Tangles A 305 Lancer c.1997 in an atractive 4" octagonal collectors tin. I picked this up in an antique mall many years ago. I could not find it in the Special Projects lists or catalog. The Feb 98 Newsletter listed a Treasured Memories Tin Series with a canoe Scene and lighthouse Scene but no mention of this one. Anyone having information about who these were sold thru feel free to add the information.

That is pretty neat. Thanks for sharing.

I did find one that is actively for sale right now, but it doesn't look like the listing reveals much more.

Also found one that looks to be in the same artwork series.

Not quite a tin, but the 310 came in this nifty little wood box.
From memory, the 310 Whittler has had a varied retail life. I think it started out about 1994 as a SMKW exclusive then later became a Buck General Catalog item. In more recent years it became a Bass Pro exclusive. I believe it is now discontinued. The Bass Pro versions were the ones in the slide top box you show. At $34 they were quite the bargain. Basically a 3 blade 309, the Bass Pro versions sometimes sported 309 stamped blades.

Sounds right. I bought that one at Bass Pro.

thanks Roger for hosting this Sunday. kinda cold today in the low 60s already here. those who know me know I hate the cold.....anyways...

seeing some pics of snow made me feel for y'all up north in the ice and snow areas...so pic is on some green today to cheer ya up from the misery of winter, except when y'all are skiing of course. then cold is tolerable.😁

thanks all for your pics of Bucks today enjoying them.

Thanks for hosting, Roger -- this thread is always an education in all things Buck.

My contribution to the SPS this morning is this 110 Drop Point with Moroccan Agate scales from Michael Hoover. I wasn't familiar with Michael's work until now -- but, man, his work is really extraordinary. One neat thing about these scales is that they are rounded, so the grip in hand is really something special -- just incredibly comfortable.

Two new BG42s from across the pond from nice gentleman on this here forum.

1 is a g10 handled stamped BG42 across the blade

The other is a one half checkered handle/ one half smooth french green over run. Believed to be a visual to aid Chuck in deciding whether the checkered would be worthy or not

Chilebrown when I seen the 110 about breaking the 300 MPH record it brought back a flood of memories! I was in the stands that day with my son Richard (he was 5 at the time) and we watched it happen. The noise at the track was incredible along with giant clouds of tire smoke. I was worried it might hurt his hearing. Thanks for posting it!
