112 blade cutouts are rare but there is one, just 1, NRA cutout I seen about 7 years ago and I missed it. At first glance it could have been mistaken for NKCA LE but with Elk handles. I believe it was made for a NRA banquet or dinner using a 110 cutout..It's in my top 10 list of missed Bucks. I'll try to find a picture!

Thank you Roger for hosting the Sunday Picture Show. Today’s show and tell is the “Champagne Buck”. This is a modified, new style, model 560. The scales are cast CP Titanium and have a frost Champagne coating. The color of the coating is not showing up very well in this lighting, but I am too lazy to dig out the light box. I am not sure of the composition of the coating or how it was applied, but it does exhibit good scratch resistance. I ground off 1/32” of material from the inside of each scale to bring the thickness of the handle from 7/16” to 3/8”. Slim Object!
I prefer tip down, R/H carry. So I put the clip on that corner. The pivot is a screw set consisting of an 1/8” diameter internally threaded barrel with a screw at each end. I red LocTited one of the screws to make a T-nut. The T-nut goes under the clip. That way the knife cannot come apart even if the other screw somehow falls out. I freehanded some serrations on the rocker to aid traction, but they look a little sloppy. Also engraved my name and address on the rocker (not shown).
The BuckCote blade is chisel sharpened and PVD coated with Champagne colored ZrN at 86 HRC. The coating is exposed on the micro edge. CP=Commercially Pure. Threads= #2X56TPI. PVD=Physical Vapor Deposition. ZrN=Zirconium Nitride. HRC=Hardness Rockwell C scale.

The Bear was part of the 2005 Friends of NRA Banquet merchandise package and came with a Buck 192.
I need to update my picture with the knife included. My bear did not come with the knife but I do have the correct knife to go with.
