The Sunday Picture Show (November 20, 2022)

Vaporstang Vaporstang Interesting tang stamp on the top 116. Don't remember seeing the tang stamp that had the 'anvil' above the Buck, USA before. Are there other knives with this order?

I got this in November of 2019. From my notes: 116 Caper Elk Tine Knife - Buck Limited Production. This Buck model 116 Caper features an elk tine tip handle with an ebony and green paper spacer. The 420HC steel blade is an original made 116 blade. This handcrafted 116 Caper is one of only 24 knives. (The sheath is stamped 102.)

Thank you for the Picture Show and The History Lesson, Roger. This is a Pre Ban Whale tooth that I am thinking of having scrimshanded with likenesses of my dad’s Fletcher class Destroyer, the USS Cassin Young and the USS Constitution both of which are moored in the Charlestown Navy Yard in Boston as part of a Naval Museum.View attachment 1994156View attachment 1994157

I am a bit late to the party but better late than never I guess. Great show and thanks to all for your participation.

Looks like there is a bit of a nautical theme so I will show my ivory scrimmed 525.

Spoiler alert, next week I will show some 700 series slip joints. I don't think we've seen too many on the show. If you have some, lets see them. Some Turkey knives would be great also. Let's see the Turkey day table spread. I'm traveling to visit family in Maryland so Happy Thanksgiving in advance to all my forum friends.
