The wife and I got out for a later than usual hike in the biggest little state in the union, Rhode Island. We had our first frost last night, but its expected to get up around 60 today. Lighting worked out great this am... took these pics around 815What part of the country are we in?

great first SPS post...well done......Good afternoon Buck fans, this is my first post in the SPS. Had a good couple of weeks for adding a few Buck Knives to my collection. Thought I'd share them.
A couple weeks ago I woke up to a PM offering up a 2018 forum knife, the 301 in stag without spey blade. I was floored that a member had read a post of mine lamenting passing on that knife. I'll leave it up to him to reveal himself but he sold it to me for only what he paid when he coulda turned a handsome profit!

As if that wasn't a fair enough deal, he through in a knife I'd probably never considered-the 726 Mini Spitfire. Now modern folders are well out of my wheelhouse, but this knife has been under consideration since I got it. I've carried and used it clearing up the garden, lots of twine and string cutting along with zip ties and such. I have to say it was up to the task and probably more. A welcome addition to the knife drawer. Thanks again!

Within two weeks I copped two very nice 301s. The 2nd being the BOTM and I guess fortune smiled on me because mine is very nice. After seeing some of the BCCI club knives, I ponied up for a membership and ordered the fixed blade 112 whatever the actual model number is. It wasn't the nicest one by far but that's the natural material lottery for ya!

Well done first SPS post and all. I'm a fan of the 1911. Yours is very nice, clean lines. Don't see that 'duckbill' grip safety and front strap checkering often. Tell us more about it.Good afternoon Buck fans, this is my first post in the SPS.
