Thanks Roger for another Sunday Picture Show, thanks to those who post photos and comment.
I was in Philadelphia on July 4, 1976. It was an uplifting experience! I had forgotten the details surrounding the Liberty Bell. I didn't get the knife until much later and then it didn't have the COA or the coin. FWIW the edge on mine is unsharpened.

It's a good all around size for a user and I'm sure it was heat treated..A few years ago the blue handle trainer Strider (under $20.00 a incredible deal!!) I was going to try and put a edge on myself.. But after much thought and a fair evaluation of my sharping skills decided to gift it to a family member. I can't quite remember if one of my granddaughters boyfriends got it or my son Richard did. At the time I did NOT relise just how rare and valuable it was to Strider collectors. At least 12 times what the BCCI/Buck left one go for.
