The Sunday Picture Show (September 25, 2022)

Great show everyone and thanks to all for taking the time out of your busy Sunday each and every week and making this great show what it is for all of us to enjoy.
And a great big thank you to our dedicated host Roger for setting this up for us each week like clockwork as well as the usual great history lessons you bring to us all.
Just got back last week from an elk hunt in Texas with my 91 year old Father and his friend. We also met up with my older Brother at our hunt location. My Father lived and breathed hunting and this was his last hunt he will be going on. It was a great time with great people and a great hunt but in some ways a very difficult trip. I am blessed to have gone on all his hunts with him the last few years.
If I can figure out how to get the pictures off my camera I will share a couple.

Here is a set of 300 series in burgundy micarta.

Thanks Roger for doing the GSOE and the History lessons. I like the 110 format, pocket clips, and the tip down carry. When I started collecting Bucks, there wasn’t much available that met my criteria. So I added clips to existing knives. The metal scales could be drilled and tapped (#2X56TPI). The plastic scales needed inserted HeliCoils.View attachment 1941029View attachment 1941030View attachment 1941031

My chintzy little Buck collection continues to expand. This sheath was bought for a 192 Vanguard, whatever chemicals are in the sheath tarnished the brass. The Vanguard returned its original sheath, the 685 inherited this sheath.

Great Show fellas. Top notch stuff posted by all.

gedlicks gedlicks Wow your set of Burgundy Micarta 300s is just........ Wow. Curious as to where/when they were produced and if you bought them as a set together or acquire individually over time?
Also, I for one would very much like to see some photos of your hunting adventures. Not many things in life better than hunting with family and friends.

topgun03 topgun03 Very nice set of Custom Shop knives. I think we would all appreciate seeing some more pics from different angles of both knives.
