The Sunday Picture Show Show ... (9-14-1014)

After my earlier post, I cleaned up windfall apples and took them to the cabin. Except for a few patches, the snow is gone. Anyway, I scattered the first bag of apples and got another. When I turned around, this "BUCK" was standing about ten feet away. It was almost as though he was saying, "Hurry up with the apples, mister."

This is the 2003 BCCI members annual knife. A 470 mentor with oak slabs and MP blade with gold etch. There were only 80 made and probably less actually sold. It is a plain but gorgeous Buck.

Good to know someone is covering for Armand….thanks!
I've heard your mind doesn't work as well when you get to be his age. :)

LOL. You are his age, as am I, so you/we should know. The kids keep ITEs computer working but since it is Fall and back to school the young systems analysts are doing homework instead!

oregon….I'll never be as old as Armand! :)

Armand...I really like that first picture of your granddaughter. Cute girl and she carries a Buck knife!

This is turning into another nice SPS…thanks everyone!

Bert…when can I move in?

And I wonder why I'm gaining weight. This is what I've been up to today;

I love that Buck slicer that is pictured.

I knew it - the minute I tried to help!! OH

Old Hunter,

I couldn't get my computer to post anything on the forum... If you don't see me by noon then
something is up... Boy I had hard time just posting today's show... one picture at a time...

I do have a friend who will start the show after 12pm if I don't... Today I had things that had to
get done and my computer just wouldn't let me do anything... I still can barely post anything...
Anyway thanks for the help Old Hunter... You guys can email me and I will let you know if
something is wrong... Let's get this show on the road...

Great Show so far by the way... Oregon you take some sweet pictures for sure...
So does everyone else, but Oregon is just one step higher than I will ever be...
So I'll keep trying to be as good as him and some of you other guys here on the
SPS... Thanks for sharing... ITE ... :)

Thanks Stumps, were almost the same age... what was I talking about... Oh Happy B-day Stumps
just in case I forget... ITE ... :)

First SPS post, not a photog. I did post these in the stag thread earlier but thought I re-post for anyone who missed. A 701 stag (beefed up 301).

You are welcome, Armand!
And to ALL who helped me to rediscover Buck knives.
Great Sunday show too, btw!

my contribution for the week. Just picked up another Odyssey, from my local knife guy. Been sitting in his display case for awhile, no idea if it was used or just sat around a lot. Was hoping it was the fancy ATS-34 version, but wasnt. Matched it up the other one I have. Even bought a crystal to use as a display but doesnt come out to well on my computer desk. I need to find some better backdrop and display items since I like to photograph.

Okay…I decided to clean it up a little before I got busy later today. This is the same $10.00 knife and sheath that's posted in #16 above.

It cleaned up alright. It had a bad sharpening job done on it. I got the angle right and even our own California Chris could shave with it now. :)

I re-dyed the sheath with a little Fiebing's black leather dye.

Wow Stumps!! That one cleaned up nicely.
Yep, that looks like a great "California Razor" :D

It would be the first time without a pic from me if I don't enter the GSOE since I posted my first photo here. Thank you, Armand, for another chance to show what I have. God bless you!

Haebbie, that is an extremely nice 110! :)

Here is a mint 1997 475 mini mentor (to go with bertl's photo) that I got a while back to use for harvesting vegetables in the garden :)
However, I decided it is far too nice for that task.

And our local once a year parade, the "heroe's parade" this saturday.
This parade is to honor all of America's heroes, past present and future.
The parade route is all of one mile long....hahahaha

The giant flag suspended by a crane :)

Our daughter the locall community queen this year, on the right side of the flatbed trailer.
