I should know the answer but, second from the left?

There are so many production knives that are easier to get, a better value, and cover all the same bases as most of the higher priced stuff named here.
Unless exclusivity is part of the equation...
With all due respect. Read the OP again. You have COMPLETELY misread this thread.

Go the Knifemakers sales subforum. There are lots of quality makers there hungry for business that turn out beautiful work in a huge variety tailored to almost any preference.

Paul Rasp at CPE Knives is one that caught my attention and is turning out nice quality knives and sheaths for very fair pricing. His Kephart in particular is a knife that stays in my hunting back pack year round.

Hinderer is a go to choice for folders.

Let's give neophytes alternatives to the mess that is attempting to purchases a Survive! Knife in anything that approaches "real time". I'll edit a list in this OP. See below it's started.

By real time I mean prior to meeting someone, falling in love, getting married, having some kids, raising said kids, seeing a marriage counselor, maybe getting divorced.

Suggestions:
Give company, model, photo, customer service experience. It's a free for all. You do you. If you're a maker, dealer, seller. Go for it (if allowed).

1) FOBOS knives, particularly the Tier 1 BC model to compete in the field knife area. I bought mine from DLT, I am really enjoying it so far. The "alaris" in cpm 3v is a great design, i had no trouble finding many purchase options when acquiring mine. The owner is a retired Green Beret. I believe the company started out using Bark River as a manufacturer, and has thankfully moved away from them.

2) White River Knives: they recently put out a Magnacut blade, I am excited to see if they will make newer versions of their lineup in higher grade steels. I love my Firecraft 5 (very well made and hardened S35vn) I have many hours of hard use on that knife and it looks nearly new.

3) Tkell knives, former Marine that does hand made knives in 80cr2v.

4) Winkler knives...quite expensive for 80cr2v Knives, but nice ergonomics and finishing.

5) Demko FREEREIGN in CPM Magnacut, US assembled with a Taiwan made handle. I like mine, it has good ergonomics, came razor sharp with a perfect grind, and was a very reasonable price ($200)

"It's a free for all. You do you." 🤔
What he means is it is "free" for all to participate...not a "free for all" in that anything goes. Forum rules will apply, and be applied...make no mistake.

As regards makers and vendors, the only ones that can post in this thread to bring attention to their wares are those who have the proper membership level...or posts will be moved offline and warnings issued.

Let's respect the house rules.

I think there are many reasonably priced Scandinavian knives, I know I have quite a few in my collection amassed over the years...from production to custom.

I believe they know a thing or two about woodcraft and the outdoors, and it is interesting that most Scandinavian blades have much in common with traditional Japanese tantos...(not the Americanized version by the same name).

Has nobody mentioned Becker?
