I have the OG Free Reign with Comp finish, used indoor and out, live by the ocean, constant 60-80% humidity, no rust no oil treatment. Just a wipedown with microfiber cloth and stored hanging on wall by a lanyard, sheathless. For those of you with 3V experience, how is it holding up to corrosion? I’m torn between coated & comp finish!
woo hoo ordered![]()
LOLAnother one handed sword for you?
Still can't decide. Sage or Swamp wash?Trying to decide on the finish![]()
Still can't decide. Sage or Swamp wash?![]()
I think you're rightWell, when you go through all the pros and cons of both, I think it’s safe to say it’s a wash.![]()
Yeah... I pulled out my BG AK47 and did the measurements. That pretty made my decision to pass on this. I'll probably only ever buy another Busse-kin sword if it hits 20" or more. I know that is only a couple more inches, but right now, I'm flush with 15-18 inch blades. The AK47 has an 18.5” blade, with an oal of 29”
The FR28 has an 18.25” blade, with an oal of 28”
