For years now there has been a huge demand for the return of the legendary Ratweiler. That call has now been answered! :cool:

This Wednesday (10-21-15) The Swamp Rat RATWEILER CG returns!!! :thumbup:

It should hit the Swamp Rat website sometime AFTER 5:00 PM Eastern and will ONLY be available online at www.swampratknifeworks.com

There are no phone orders on Swamp Rat.

A limited number of each thickness has been run and we expect these to sell out fairly quickly.

The RATWEILER CG is being offered in two thicknesses of approx. 3/16" and 1/4". :thumbup:

There are multiple blade finishes and handles available. :thumbup:

What is it called when something collapses in on itself so hard that it causes a massive explosion? Gravitational collapse?
That is what is happening to my wallet this month.
 
With this one being so popular hopefully it will be around for a little bit and the shop cooks up another couple batches

Thinking of going for the 1/4 thick version ? I've got a TM thin version already :-)
 
Looks like Swamp Rat is going to the 'Two Weeks' style of offerings along the lines of the Battle Grades, very cool. Though this one does not interest me, I know many here will go for probably at least a couple each.
 
Wow, the two thicknesses option is nice. :)

Hopefully that might be a new Busse standard to have this option :thumbup::thumbup:
 
Ugh. I thought I was done getting knives this year. While the other offerings have been tempting, I have been able to convince myself to sit out. The Ratweiler was the one thing I always had on my radar even though I'm not a Swamp fan. Now, this. Brutal. I may have to give in for this blade.

Gravity is a theory......never proven..... But, I completely understand your point.
 
I am really tempted on this one but am waiting to see the next infi offering on the Busse site. I also have my ganza order to pay for but I'm sure I'll check out the swamp after 5. I'm a notorious impulse buyer.

Perfect! Next time I topple over drunk, I can blame an "unknown, un-named, never-proved force." It will sound way less my fault and take the focus off of me while everybody looks over their shoulders for some foreboding, lurking Cthulu creature. :D

If you don't get an answer, I would err on the side of through-hardened. But if that's a consideration for you, I sure wouldn't let it slow you down when it comes to ordering one.
