Back when JK Knives was only a knife modder and not yet a maker, he did a nice satin job on an original CG RW. Still have it, of course; although the others have moved on.

IMHO, the 0.25" version will make for a better all-rounder, as it has more heft for chopping. The extra weight won't noticeably detract from it's other funtions.

Is the flat of the satin RW jeweled?

All this RW pron is amazing!

Some recently taken crappy ones of my 10th Anniversary Ratweiler LE #77.

I can't afford both, so I'll probably stick with the 1/4". Shouldn't buy either, but I can't help myself. May be one of my favorite midsized Bussekin. Between it the SOD and the Chopweiler....

I'm wondering if the grip slabs are flat or sculpted. That will make all the difference to me for buying or not.

I imagine they'll be sculpted like the LE's were. But we should know SOON! Where are they??? It's after 5... :grumpy: ;)

Can i Plzzz ask what you guys/Gals do for SR101 rust prevention ? If anything ? Rem oil ? Mineral oil ?
Thank You

It's back up, but unless I'm missing something, there's no RWCG...

ETA: And the RWLE is gone too...

If it's coated, nothing is needed. I don't even really bother much to keep it oiled if satin either, just keep it clean and dry. If I was in a humid environment or carrying a lot on body then I would probably put a coating of Eezox on the blade.
