For years now there has been a huge demand for the return of the legendary Ratweiler. That call has now been answered! :cool:

This Wednesday (10-21-15) The Swamp Rat RATWEILER CG returns!!! :thumbup:

It should hit the Swamp Rat website sometime AFTER 5:00 PM Eastern and will ONLY be available online at www.swampratknifeworks.com

There are no phone orders on Swamp Rat.

A limited number of each thickness has been run and we expect these to sell out fairly quickly.

The RATWEILER CG is being offered in two thicknesses of approx. 3/16" and 1/4". :thumbup:

There are multiple blade finishes and handles available. :thumbup:

Why a limited number of something that would prolly sell like the RMD? One of the best selling knives in the history of knives?

This is prolly why I'm a hillbilly and not an economist. :) Huh Boss? Oh heck, let's drink.
 
I asked this question in a couple of related areas, with no answer. I thought the Ratweiler already DID return? I own one. There was an LE and a CG about a year ago. I picked up the Terror Monkey version. So this is a RE-return? I don't get why this is being touted as "Its finally back!!!". Didn't we just get one?
 
There was a short run of LEs. The CGs were listed and then almost immediately pulled down. I believe the Terror Monkey RWs were either show or ganza items.


There has not been a 1/4" Ratweiler built for quite awhile.

And Hard Knocks is correct. It was anorexic by Ratweiler standards . . . less than 3/16" I believe.

Ok. Just curious. But it was at least a taste of Ratweiler. Unlike some of the other sought after knives that haven't seen the light of day in years. I think these short runs are perfect though. Keeps everyone happy.

There has not been a CG yet. The Terror Monkey variant does not count as a CG, and has only been offered at shows and in Ganzaaas.

That thread was started when the LE's officially went up for sale. Yes, the LE's were a bit under 3/16".

haha. Dude, I set an alarm to go off and remind me of order time for these. When it didn't go off at 5 yesterday, I was pissed at my stupid phone and got online 10 mins late. Tuesday. Whups.
