Yeah, Millie + SAK is such a powerful combo. Orange is nice, tooI still keep a orange Millie in my bag, for whenever I go to the mountains. Such a great knife. My favorite fillet knife for prepping walleye while out night fishing.
Excellent write up and nice to see you around. I’m currently trying to reduce/simplify my collection and I have always had a fondness for SAKs. Do you carry the SwissChamp loose in your pocket? How bulky is it?
Back on topic: I seem to enjoy the convenience of pocket clips even on SAKs so that would make the Huntsman my max size carry that would still feel good clipped in pocket.
You and me both. I reckon Victorinox should make him an offical swiss champ ambassador, and use his posts above as sales literatureBuzzbait As someone who got heavily into SAKs in the last year, and positively love the SwissChamp (I'm carrying my favorite today, in fact), I always enjoy your posts on the way you've thought about yours, and the adventures it helps you with. Always great to read your posts, friend. And the pictures are great as well!!
Now there’s a dream job. Victorinox SwissChamp ambassador. I could live with that.You and me both. I reckon Victorinox should make him an offical swiss champ ambassador, and use his posts above as sales literature
The reason I purchased mine is because of your first thread, I'd say you're up to the task.Now there’s a dream job. Victorinox SwissChamp ambassador. I could live with that.
The best way to look at them is as a set of tweezers on steroids. I find them infinitely handy grabbing small things or reaching into small places that my fat fingers can't access or grip.Are those little pliers any good?
Necro'ing this half a year later (and self-quoting myselfReading one of Buzzbait's pieces from 10+ years ago was what originally got me into the Spyderco Military;
Now, 25 Millies later, I'll not walk into the same trap all over againand vow to stick to my Huntsman(s)
