A Tarwar by Purna....a homerun...swings and handles like a bat....CG is 5" ahead of guard.....8.5" of fat handle, 20.5" of blade starting at awesome 3/8ths" thick and tapering to 1/4" just back from tipping....thickness taper starts about halfway out....

As normal, tapers in thickness from spine to edge.....side flats are not flat but forged into light fullers with ridge just above primary convex grind to wicked sharp edge....which means no stuck blade when driven deep....total weight is 42 oz which is 2 oz less than the smallest 4.2" bbl Ruger Redhawk roundbutt .45 with biggest holes in barrel and cylinder...

A guy can clear a lot of stuff with this....as handy as a 21" blade machete but khukuri strong....just the sort of sword i wanted for my very first of lifetime sword...a boyhood dream come true....a useful sword which can even go in trunk on camping trips and be put to use and no useless wallhangar....just incredible....

Apologies for unclean blade....first shots were straight out of box and last shots the cool blade from indoors taken out into our 98° / 100% humidity had water running off blade instantly....

Try one in middle of major kitchen remodeling...good counter and cabinet remover...shows handiness of blade....

I saw that blade, and thought, it will be mine. Maybe next time. It's cool.

I was suprised nobody else bought it....it called to me......whispered to me.....again and again....."bankruptcy........bankruptcy".....sounded pretty good after a while....

The sirens; I've heard their call.
Ndoghouse jumped on a beautiful Duri Chirra. The siren from that blade left me waiting for Auntie's next post.

Congrats! New hobby...get all of the HI swords, maybe two of each, so you can always hold them in pairs?

It truly was bad timing but when i saw this posted and waited and waited, finally i had to get it somehow......it seemed exactly what i was looking for.....and turned out to be so, as well.......still cannot get over the machete size, and sheath higher ride than even a machete....but a machete that swings like a baseball bat and hits like one too, is what it is......could not be more pleased....i passed up an ABS Master bowie knife to get this, and am glad i did.

Thank you.......(how did you find out? that was supposed to be privacy information.)

It's the new HI app we all have. Let's us know who's on bubble and who's not. You apparently weren't issued one.

That's alright buddy, we'll compensate for you.

I have an almost identical piece by Kumar. It's a beast and it's beautiful. Yours has the same curve in the handle as mine. Very trick

Yep! Crossing them releases the full potential of them before battle:D

I had Falcata on the brain when that sword came up (thx Steely) or I might have snagged it. Love the shape of it.

What a beast! Must feel very satisfying to swing.

When this one is held up, it feels and balances same as a baseball bat....and swings just as naturally while handle orients hands and arms for a dead square edge strike... and for me the contact area out front is instinctive....nobody could make a bad hit with this one....it makes everyone a home-run king
...if you want a sword to actually use and get something done, this one will do the job.....the functional aspect is still amazing to me....easier to wear than a machete and draws as easily, too.....not one to clear jungle all day but a brushbuster supreme.....

That was you in a recent purchase, was it not?......i remember thinking "i bet that guy is going to be as pleased as i know i will be.".......when this sword was posted, i had been looking at all the ones posted and also the ones on the main site and store link, and none said "this is what you are looking for."

But again, when this one posted, the immediate gut thought was "there is IS!!!...that's my SWORD!!!..."

I could not believe nobody else bought it.....thanks, guys and gals!!!!
