The tarwar "louisville slugger" sword...hit one out of the park!

I just wanted to add where it would be read....the amount of hard labor and long hours this sword represents is just incredible, every hammer blow by hand....

that i can afford to buy this amount of labor from anybody anywhere in the world while i gripe about my near "poverty" is humbling in the extreme.....

I will honor the blood and sweat and tears this represents....and honor this company and family for giving these smiths a place to work and paying them a living wage with roofs over their head and food on the table...especially this post-earthquake time period.....

it is an honor to buy this sword....an honor to own this sword.

As happy as you seem, I glad the blade found you. They have their own soul, you know.

Yep! Crossing them releases the full potential of them before battle:D

I had Falcata on the brain when that sword came up (thx Steely) or I might have snagged it. Love the shape of it.

The shape is what sold me.....both the recent shape of two up for sale here including slightly dropped handle and also the utility possibility of blade....no wide front heavy executioner sword, but no whippy katana great for rice mats but bone jarring on a small sapling......the blade shape seemed capable of doing most Khukuri chores aside from large tree felling and large round splitting.....a nuclear powered machete able to handle heavy stuff....great shape and style for any other folk wanting a strong and long blade....

One other quick and dirty including own shadow comparison shot for relative handiness and useful size/length when toted , especially against the short 14" bolo machete....plus an 8" combat/utility

Great pix and post, thank you
