The teasing is over

I realize is was just a joke (and a good one I might add) :D but let's not go there with this thread. I'm sure Scott, like many LEOs and agency guys, belives just as strongly in an individual's rights to bear arms as anyone else does on this forum. It's the freakin' no-count politicians that make screwed up laws, and yes, there are over-zealous assholes that can make a whole agency look bad by their antics. One of my good friends is an ATF Agent who works every day with bomb dogs, doing good work. He's also a shooter, gun collector and someone that believes in the right to go armed and protect himself, whether on duty or off duty.

That is one very SWEET Izula! It's great to see the way American business supports and recognizes the job you guys and gals do every day.

Thanks for the support. I took no offense at all to the joke that was made. After more than 20 years with ATF, I've developed a very thick skin (and even thicker skull, as my wife would say). The jokes will have to get a hell of a lot worse before I even blink.

This is a great forum and I have learned a lot so far and will continue to learn.

Scott, as a side note, we will be offering the HEST folder with the ATF seal once we get regular production shipped. We will have to check with Shon on the seal on the fixed blade HEST. I think the blade grind and shape keeps us from getting the detail of the SEAL on there with the textured rough finish, and of course we can't remove details since the licens states it has to be exact.

That's good news to me about the folder. Now I just have to save up my allowance! I'm not worried about having the HEST engraved since it's my EDC.

i'd make a joke, but i wouldn't want any future tax stamps getting tied up. :D

cool knife, congratulations!

i am curious tho what state you're in and what their laws say about carrying a fixed blade like the 5. can you tell us where you are or post a link to the regs or something?

someone was saying that Seattle prohibits any fixed blade, so even an Izula would be prohibited.

That is surely one if a kind! I'd recommend a shadow box to display it like Tony said. Congrats bro!

Wicked dude! Amazing how detailed the laser engraving is on that stuff.

That will make a great display piece and I'm sure will draw many people's attention ;)

I am not an ATF Agent - just an intel-type shining a seat with my butt. I'm not sure but I think that I can only carry (concealed) a fixed blade of 3 inches or less. Anyone know of a good site to check this out?

Not to be mean, but I did mention above that I am not an ATF Agent - I work at a desk doing intel-type work.

A few weeks ago I made references "to getting a very special Izula". I was led to believe that it would take 3-4 weeks to arrive, so you can imagine my delight when I got a package today.

This is a very special knife and means the world to me. Good luck getting it out of my hand.

So, as the saying goes, "Pics or it didn't happen". I hope you enjoy this as much as I do.

Very nice! Congratulations!
