It's an awesome day weather wise today here on the rock so me and the pooches took off for a hike.

I wandered a little off trail today looking for a nice sunny spot to drink my tea when I came across this !!!

Looks like it must have been here quite some time as nature had now claimed it.....

Flowers were everywhere you looked, the Tiny Terror seemed to enjoy smelling them....

Not sure what this one is, maybe someone can tell me ?

Maisy's face was telling me it was time to rest !

So we stopped for a cup of tea and some EVO treats for the dogs ( they love these !)...

The Terror sunbathed while I finished off the tea...

I stumbled across a love shack someone made along the railroad tracks when I was in 8th grade or so. It's still there. Plywood hut with a backboard from a stretcher as a bed, with bras and panties thrown on the dirt.

Out back of my yard there is an old truck in the woods. All rusted and taken over. I have never really thought to much of it until the recent thread about the weird items in the wood. And now this, I think I will make it a priority to look at it a bit closer. Of course, I need to wait for the water to get lower, the ditch is uncrossable after the rain :X

I’ve come across many strange things in the woods, but if I came across Pit bearing his breast, I would be scared…

…Cue the deliverance music… …do do do, dut do…

LOL ! It was only cos nobody else was around !!!!:D

Pit,
Great pics! How is the Tiny Terror doing with Maisy?

That's what I was going to ask. After our move, I want to get another dog. I think our mutt, Leo, will do fine with his personality, but dogs can be a little possessive...especially for attention.

Don't hold me to this, but I think the same truck in the US would have been labeled Ford, but when released in Canada, was labeled Mercury. I believe I read that somewhere about 30 years ago, but my memory isn't what it used to be.

I came across this old studabaker one time in astoria or. on a hike. old cars look cool when they have been grown over. great pictures.

They get on fine now but to be honest I don't think Maisy could care less whether Snicker was there or not !
Maisy will still snarl and do these mock charges but Snicker knows that it's all bluff now and stands her ground and yaps back !!!!!:D

My PB has never been OK with my English Bully (or any other dog...). I think it is something with the breed though....

My question was going to be where is this? I knew Mercury trucks were made but was pretty sure they were never marketed in the U.S. I just learned from a friend in Sydney that sort you can still buy new Ford Falons in Australia. I would love to have had one of the Falocon Superbirds they had down there in the 70's...(think Mad Max)
